Metal Church vs Vicious Rumors

Which is your favourite in general?

Although i consider VR's latest release to be a piece of art, i still go for Metal Church

Metal Church. No contest.

Metal Church, but not by much. I'd say I'm a casual fan of both bands, but I happen to own more Metal Church cds, so they get the nod.

I have four Metal Church albums and only one Vicious Rumors CD so I can't vote.

I vote metal church. Im not that familar with vicious rumors though. I only have welcome to the ball.

I dig both bands but I gotta go with MC cuz I've been into them longer than VR.

I love both bands (I own all their releases) but Metal Church gets the nod from me because I've been into them much longer than Vicious Rumors.

My vote was based on the fact that i am more familiar with Metal Church, but i will surely be checking VR's entire catalogue.

doesnt seem much of a vote, my pick was metal church too.

I voted for Vicious Rumors, but ONLY by the tiniest of margins.

Vote goes to VR for two reasons. First - to many MC fans here And second - because their first five albums are what power metal should sound like. When they are (were) on, they top even Metal Church. Carl Albert could be my favorite vocalist and Welcome to the Ball is in my top 10 - a piece of art.
With that said, MC is awesome also with Hanging.. being my favorite.

Carl Albert was one of those rare cases...just an amazing, effortless Metal singer.

Metal Church. I owned one Vicious Rumors album and it did nothing for me.

Without thinking, the quick gut reaction...Vicious Rumors. Just like their sound more.

Metal Church. However, I don't think this is that great of a pairing. Metal Church was definately speed/thrash. VR is more inline with Helloween.

Dig both. can't pick one over another. While one excells over the other in one aspect, they fail in another.

I had a Metal Church live tape, song by them on a Metal Blade comp, and seen them open for Metallica. The first 2 albums mean a lot, plus they had a connection from Anvil Chorus.

Vicious Rumours are cool, just never think of playing their music, but will listen to a whole album if I do.
