selling a large LP collection will net significantly more cash these days I've noticed.

LP's are considered collectable items again, CDs appear to be going the route of the 3.5 inch floppy disk, obsolete plastic.

I had never heard of this band, and bought it based entirely on the band name and album cover. It's actually some pretty good grunge/alt type 90's stuff.

Nobody thought vinyl would...besides I don't think CD's will ever totally disappear. There will always be a market for a physical format...just not necessarily in the hundreds of millions...it'll scale way down.

I would agree with that. I can very easily see the mainstream Top 40 material going all digital but the niche markets staying physical copy oriented.
