I love that Wallflowers "Bringing Down The Horse" album. Saw them on that tour with Counting Crows. After that they got kinda sucky IMO. Or maybe I just grew tired of their style...

I just noticed the rest of your list. I also own both those Soul Asylum discs and that Goo Goo Dolls disc so, yeah, your metal cred is seriously in jeopardy.

Soul Asylum is excellent. I like the early stuff and the mellow stuff from later years. And the first few Goo Goo Dolls albums are fantastic.

Those two Soul Asylum discs are awesome! Don't feel like you're losing your metal cred. I listen to Billy Joel, John Denver, Iona, All About Eve and others but I don't feel that I'm any less metal because of it. Now my enjoyment of some cartoons on the other hand....

You dig the Waking Jonah stuff, huh? Thanks...I think we finally have enough focus and motivation within the core members to make the record happen...4 songs of drums tracked...10 songs planned for the final record...

These are all mostly albums I have either owned before (prior to having to sell off all my stuff) liked enough by the band to warrant snagging these...variety is the spice of life.

I wasn't going to get it, but I guess there are five new songs on it. The rest are from Psycho Cafe and Dancin' on Coals. So five new tunes, seven old songs, and one "over-medium mix," whatever that is.

What's the 2nd cd on that Soundgarden? Is it the Satanoscillatemymetallicsonatas ep? That's quite a find if it is.
