| Voted for Exodus-Impact is Imminent: such a kick asser of an album.
Followed by:
1.Anthrax-Persistence of time 2.Death Angel-Act III 3.Annihilator-Never Neverland 4.Forbidden-Twisted Into Form 5.Destruction-Cracked Brain
Although i must confess my favorite thrash album from 1990 is Artillery's By Inheritance:such a killer, i don't understand why it didn't make the list. Same for the excellent VIO-lence and Sodom albums.
From the list, i haven't heard the Deliverance ,Believer,Tourniquet and Exhorder albums.

Yeah good question. Why didn't any of those make the list? Those are noteworthy releases from noteworthy bands.

Had to keep the list to only 15. Tried to pick what I thought would be the most popular. See the post below. - ultmetal wrote:
- I know a couple of these really push the boundaries of thrash metal, Reverend falling closer to US Power Metal and Death falling closer to death metal, but I included them anyhow. I also know that some will argue for the inclusion of Pantera in a thrash metal poll. However, that particular album seem to fit, at least for me.
Cutting down the poll to only 15 was tough. Hopefully I made the right choices.
Acid Reign - Obnoxious Anacrusis - Reason Annihilator - Never, Neverland Anthrax - Persistence of Time Artillery - By Inheritance Atrophy - Violent by Nature Bathory - Hammerheart Believer - Sanity Obscure Celtic Frost - Vanity/Nemesis C.I.A. - In the Red Dark Angel - Live Scars (live/EP) Death - Spiritual Healing Death Angel - Act III Death Angel - Fall from Grave (live) Defiance - Void Terra Firma Deliverance - Weapons of Our Warfare Destruction - Cracked Brain Detritus - Perpetual Defiance Exodus - Impact is Imminent Exhorder - Slaughter in the Vatican Flotsam & Jetsam - When the Storm Comes Down Forbidden - Twisted into Form Grinder - s/t (EP) Hellwitch - Syzygial Miscreancy Intruder - Escape from Pain (EP) Kreator - Coma of Souls Megadeth - Rust In Peace Minier - Minier Pantera - Cowboys from Hell Prong - Beg to Differ Pyracanda - Two Sides Of A Coin Realm - Suiciety Reverend - World Won't Miss You Sadus - Swallowed in Black Slammer - Insanity Addicts Seventh Angel - The Torment Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss Sodom - Better Off Dead Stone - Colours Steel Vengeance - Never Lettin' Go Suicidal Tendencies - Lights...Camera...Revolution! Testament - Souls of Black Tourniquet - Stop the Bleeding Vio-lence - Oppressing the Masses Wargasm - Your Dog's Teeth (demo) Whiplash - Insult to Injury Xentrix - For Whose Advantage Interesting that I said, "I also know that some will argue for the inclusion of Pantera in a thrash metal poll. However, that particular album seem to fit, at least for me." Hmmm...well that contradicts what I just said in the other thrash discussion. I don't ever remember thinking that album was thrash. Oh well. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| If Rust in Peace wasn't on this list I would've been torn between Forbidden and Kreator. Both those albums pack a violent punch. | |

| I voted Seasons. Would have liked to see Seventh Angel make the list but it probably wouldn't have made much difference to the Megadave Megalandslide! | |

| Megadeth would be in my top 3; but I went with Kreator on this poll. | |

| Pantera - Cowboys from Hell from this list however back in 1990 I was still pretty much glam bands only...my choice here is my view now today since I now have widened my listening pleasure to include the albums listed for choice... | |

| Persistence of Time for me. Tied with Spreading the Disease as my favorite Anthrax album. The Deliverance, Slayer, Believer, Tourniquet, Megadeth, and Annihilator are all at the top of my favorites list, as well.
