| Had to push the button for Metallica's KILL'EM ALL. It was a game changer and if it weren't for its release, I may not have become the metalhead I am today.
The rest of my top 5 would probably look something like this:
1. KILL'EM ALL 2. THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST 3. RIDE THE LIGHTNING 4. OPERATION MINDCRIME 5. HEAVEN AND HELL
...though I gotta say I own and love just about every album on that list (except for GRETCHEN; never been much more than a casual King's X fan) _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| This is almost like picking your favorite album of all time, way too hard to do. Of this list, I gotta go with "Ride The Lightning", but I don't really believe Metallica should be on this list as they certainly arent heavy metal. But that is a discussion for another day.
Greatest from the '76-'89 list:
Killers Heaven & Hell Stained Class Somewhere In Time Sad Wings
there are tons of great albums that didnt make the list like Aerosmith "Rocks" and Rush "2112" and Van Halen 1 on so on and so on....

Cool, Im not the only one who ranks SIT high. heck yeah. The worst song on it is probably "Wasted Years" and the rest are as good or better than anything from the two albums that bookend it (Powerslave and 7th Son) except maybe "Powerslave" or "Rime". SIT is in my top 3 Maiden albums. | |
