| I have to go with "Ride The Lightning", since I believe it's Metallica's finest album to date. In many ways, I wanted to go with "Defenders of the Faith", because it was my first Priest album, and one of my first heavy metal albums.

| Holy crap! I missed this poll. I knew something was amiss when the poll went from 1983 to 1985. Problem is I always check the metal section and rarely the fun & games section. This is a touch one since I have 9 to choose from (10 if Ratt-Out Of The Cellar was on the poll). It came down to Metallica and Iron Maiden which causes a dilema. However, I'm giving the nudge to Metallica as this is my second favorite one from them (MoP is my favorite but in recent years this one has come close to knocking it to #2) and the next two Maiden albums to come are my top 2 Maiden albums. | |
