| I used to fall asleep listening to "The End" back in college. It was the song, honestly. It had nothing to do with any illegal substances, I swear! | |

| That was always my favorite to perform, my mom will be here to take in a show next month, may have to scratch that one from the set list, or skip the oedipal section! | |

| yeah I love The Doors man, I've got their debut LP on vinyl. Bit of trivia; they took their name from a William Blake poem which told something about "...the Doors of Perception..." |

| There used to be a great Doors tribute band in L.A. in the '80's called "Wild Child" I saw them at the Whiskey. The Doors used to be a regular act at the same club. | |

They still play there, I have their live CD from the Whiskey recorded a few years ago, Dave Brock is the lead singer, I'll give him a run for his money! http://www.myspace.com/wildchildtheband

| Not too bad for our first show, we did Riders, but I can't figure out how to shrink it down enough to fit it on youtube? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDaU574chuI | |

| The Doors are (were) a great band. My favorite songs by them are "Light My Fire", Roadhouse Blues", and "Alabama Song". Why they're still somewhat around (as Riders Of The Storm) is beyond me. Even though Densmore, Krieger, and Manzarek had hella talent, this was Jim Morrison's band. It should've died when he did. |

Could not dissagree w/you more! This was not Jim's band, all members were an intergal component, and Jim always corrected a dj when they were announced as Jim Morrison and The Doors. He even wanted to quit a few years before he died, suggested to Ray that they find another singer, they also were auditioning singers when Jim left for Paris. My only complaint is the singer they chose, Eddy Vedder or Scott Stapp would've been a better fit.

I was a bit off when I wrote it...food and sleep and all. |

I have them on vinyl. They are well ok, just a lot diffirent. I love the Eerie Von (Danzig, Samhain, Rosemary's Babies) electronic cover of "The Spy". If you know the lyrics to the song The Spy really well take a look at the movie Attic Expeditions as the home is called the house of love and someone is spying on them in it. |
