Demo collections

Here is most of my christian metal/punk collection..theres a few I have to find...a couple red ink, sanctified noise, etc are in boxes.

I actually miss the days of cassettes. Those look really cool with all the hand drawn artwork. Nowadays that crap wouldn't go.

I got my tapes somehwere in boxes.

I sold most of my tapes. Only ones I have left are some Helloween ones of course haha.

Nice collection of rarities.

Seeing stuff like this makes me happy to be a certifiable collector/scrounger.

What I wanna know is how Stender came into possession of all of those tapes, since most of 'em were released long before he was born.

Did you make one hell of a thrift shop score, Stend, or did someone leave them to you in their will?

haha..well, stevegarveyfan helped me out with a few since he had some extras, but usually I just look around used shops, thrifts, and ebay for steals from people who dont know what they have.

I mostly collect the christian ones because alot of them no one has transferred to mp3 yet so I try to clean em up and take out the tape hiss etc so the tunes will be preserved. Collecting tapes is kinda hard because its so easy to make a boot copy with inserts and sell it as if it was the real deal online.

Ryan(stevegarveyfan) needs to come on here and post his sh!t, it dwarves mine in comparison..haha.

Here are some of the oddball tapes I've collected over the years.

I've posted before, maybe over at the Christian Metal Realm or old Firestream. It's almost bedtime for me, and I'm too tired to post 'em again right now.

I enjoy the collection, and I've been working on it for about 20 years. 'Sfun!

Is the quality good or bad for the most part on demos?I thought about getting a lot but what ive heard is not good sound wise.

That depends on a band to band level I think, but generally cassettes sound like sh!t. I think analog is alot warmer and nicer sounding than digital recordings though personally.

Would love to get a copy of that Mosh Around the World, T. You don't happen to have that transferred to digital, do ya?

wish I had a bunch of above... like that Final Prophecy again... just have the original Crucified cassettes still,The Warning,and other "regular" stuff, like Larry Norman tapes

I have the majority of those listed, but see a few I would LOVE to have!!!!
