Favorite Show Of 2010

Since we've been discussing favorite albums from 2010, I thought I'd ask what's everyone's favorite show they attended in 2010.

Anvil (Phoenix, AZ)
Ruthless & Accept (Hollywood, CA)
Up From the Ashes III (Temecula, CA) w/ Deliverance, Ultimatum, Klank
Thrashageddon 2 (Albuquerque, NM) w/ Exciter, Fueled by Fire, Ravage, Ultimatum

The only concert I saw this year was Roger Waters performing The Wall, so that would be my choice.

I only made it to two:

Alice in Chains (Nashville)
Porcupine Tree (Atlanta)

I would choose Porcupine Tree, as I actually felt it was one of the best shows I have ever been to.

Iron Maiden MSG NYC

By far the Canadian Carnage show on July 26th, 2010, with Testament, Megadeth, and Slayer. Actually, it's the best show I've ever attended.

I didn't see nuthin'. (*kicks rock*)

UFTA III - DELIVERANCE, ULTIMATUM, TROGLODYTE DAWN

The only show I caught this year was FUNNY MONEY....and it was quite good.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra-Beethoven's Last Night (can't wait for the DVD of the show is released.

Dream Theater/Iron Maiden (finally got to see Bruce live even though it was from quite a distance away and it is probably the last time I will ever see Mike Portnoy with Dream Theater)

Some of them:

Tim Ripper Owens (totally KILLER job on vocals, doing some amazing song - Painkiller, Rainbow stuff, Sabbath tunes, tones of other Judas classics)
Primal Fear (amazing live!)
Tankard and Death Angel (awesome show! The energy was sky high!)
Exumer (no comments - total thrash mania!)

For me it was Anvil and the Katatonia, Swallow The Sun and Orphaned Land tour.

Porcupine Tree - Pittsburgh @ Mr. Smalls - a dream fulfilled!
Iron Maiden - 3rd or 4th time, and still amazing, loved the set list.
Ozzfest - (Ozzy blew my socks off!) He was so good live, I coudlnt get over I had never seen him before. He was top notch!

I still hate I had to miss Katatonia...makes me sad.

All...GREAT shows. Never heard of The Last Vegas prior to seeing them live and they kicked ASS! Check 'em out!

sacrificial slaughter, enfold darkness, vital remains, warbringer, pestilence

this is the show that i felt the most comprehensively satisfied after in terms of show appetite. its funny because all of the bands were enjoyable live even though some of them arent that good to me. seeing marduk was the most satisfying show experience, though, in the limited sense of the moment you lived just once.

Transatlantic - Great show in San Francisco!!!!

DT / Iron Maiden - Was there for Maiden. It was finally nice to see Bruce after all these years. Concord Pavillion

Progressive Nation - Bigelf - I was lamenting how Bigelf should be on the US leg of the tour and lo and behold.....YES!!!! Was nice to see them. San Jose Civic Auditourium.


MSG at the Boardwalk in Sacto/Orangevale. Got to hear live what I was always listening to(and air guitaring) in my room as a teen.

Not many shows this year. But finally seeing Stryper was a blast.
