Favorite Thrash Album of 2010

The underrated thrash album thread gave me the idea to do this.Just to see what everyone thinks

From those choices, the only one I have is Heathen. While I wasn't particularily blown away by it, it's a quality album.

Forbidden, Death Angel and Warbeast are all on the want-list. I've given up on Annihilator. Need to check out Vindicator and National Suicide.

Warbeast. Just listened to Vindicator though and it's high quality.

I haven't heard them all yet. I don't have the Heathen, though it's high on the priority list. I really like Vindicator, so if I had that one it might be my choice.

As it stands, I'll go with Forbidden. I really like that one.

Bonded by Blood - Exiled to Earth was another good one from 2010.

I've heard none of the above so I posted an "other" vote for Disaffection's BEGIN THE REVOLUTION, which was the only out-and-out Thrash album I heard in 2010.

I like that one as well.

My son sort of ruined the initial pleasure I had from this album. He is a drummer and this album drove him nuts. I was playing it quite a bit in my car when I received the pre-release from Retroactive. The drummer plays a lot of the same beats and the same fills and my son kept pointing it out to me. Fun-sucker!

2 albums that I need to spend more time with. First impression with Bonded was that it was a bit samey sounding. Disaffection was good too, but nothing that stood out. Repeated listens to both albums however may change those opinions.

I haven't noticed that, but now that you've pointed it out, I'm sure the next time I listen to the album I'll probably only focus on the drumming and then I'll obsess about the same thing. Great. Tell your kid "thanks a lot."

I dig it, but I sometimes think it would've worked better as an EP. It's pretty solid for the most part, but the last two tracks feel like goofball stuff that was tacked onto the CD at the last minute just to pad it out to album length.

Really? That opening song from Disaffection is about as memorable as thrash metal gets IMO.

I personally voted for Heathen.Its a great comeback album for them.The Vindicator is excellent as well as Warbeast and N.S.I forgot all about Disaffection,its a good album as well.I'm sorry I couldnt think of everything off the top of my head.I also forgot about the new F&J album.

MC and Lurideath also mentioned some good stuff.

I was shocked to not see it on the Poll or mentioned. It's somewhere in my top 3-4 of any album for 2010.

I need to check into that Warbeast...it came up in another thread and I YouTube'd a song and it killed! It's also come up a couple times on Pandora...killer stuff!

I think the national suicide album came out in 2009 but if not, thats my pick. Runner up would be the new accused album..gotta support the local sh!t.

Didn't Heathen's "evolution of chaos" hit the streets in 2009 ?

I picked other...I really dig Warbeast alot but Fueled By Fire's "plunging into darkness" is my choice. They kicked it up a couple notch's from "spread the fire" (IMHO)
