| I'm trying to think but I can't come up with any other examples in movies or tv in which metal - any kind of metal, not just death metal - has been portrayed as a perfectly normal and cool thing for kids to be into. Usually if someone's interested in it, it's used as an indicator that they're terminally unhip and/or some kind of maladjusted loser. | |

Most often you're right but I did see a commercial for a cartoon show on Disney channel of all places with a heavy metal song throughout it. Don't remember the name or anything and I haven't watched that channel in quite some time because I can't stomach the teeny bopper crap that dominates it.

As I said, I don't remember what it was called and I don't have any clue what band did it. I just remember seeing it one day.

| If I formed a band, I think Alien Death Hammer would take it. It's a combo of Brutal yet hilarious. (Similar to Austrian Death Machine...which ironically is metalcore) | |

Maybe he thinks its irony that they're called Austrian Death Machine but don't play Death Metal?

| Tim Lambesis, who created Austrian Death Machine, named it so as a tribute to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Most of their songs, revolve around Ahnold and his movies, with sound clips beginning most of them.
Graf Orlock does a similar thing.
