These 2 over Steven Tyler and Iggy Pop? Tis a strange list indeed. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Yep, I love Slash's new album. I was actually surprised by how much I ended up liking it considering I've never liked GnR.

Yep, I love Slash's new album. I was actually surprised by how much I ended up liking it considering I've never liked GnR. The Snakepit albums never fully clicked with me, Velvet Revolver is decent enough, but I think his solos album outshines them all. That being said, none of them top Appetite in my opinion. I think Slash's musical contributions outside of GnR are better than most of what I've heard from other former members. Duff & Izzy's stuff is pretty good, but doesn't get as much airtime as Slash. Never heard anything from Steven Adler. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. The one Snakepit album I have 'Five O Clock' somewhere is not bad, but never clicked with me either, I did like Izzy Stradlin's solo album, it sounded like Stones like, Duff's solo was ok, I have only heard a few tracks off Slash's newest solo album.

| I don't get it, it says best singers, but clearly some of them have a worse vocal range than me (ok exaggeration). If it said best frontmen/women, but even then there are a few that wouldn't fit. | |

Agreed on that Snakepit album. I think his solo album from this year is great though. One of my favorites for 2010. Loaded is okay. I like Duff's Believe In Me album a lot. Never bothered with Izzy, what I've heard seems kinda boring.

| Metal Misfit if you are not a fan of the Stones and The Faces type of rock music then I would advise to stay away from Izzy's solo discs | |

Yea, don't get me wrong. I have 2 Izzy albums and I dig 'em just fine for what they are. They certainly have a Stonesy-vibe to 'em. While I didin't care for Duff's first solo album (I swear he was drunk on some tunes), his Loaded project is good too. I just tend to spin Slash's solo album a heckuva lot more. Getting back on topic, sort of, yea, the title of that list is a bit misleading. Are we talking about great singers or great frontmen? Yuu can be both a great singer & frontman (like Freddy Mercury), but you could also be a mediocre singer, buta great frontman (like David Lee Roth)/ _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was.
