| No surprise there. Axl has been a joke for decades now. He needs to swallow his ill-gotten pride and get the real GnR back together and play some real gigs, ON TIME! _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Getting the old band together won't bring back the magic and the glory days. Not to mention that Izzy won't come back. Does anyone think Slash's solo albums are anywhere near as good as "Appetite"? | |

| Up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane, it's FAN-BOY to the rescue!! - Quote :
They’re calling for their money back after Axl Rose and his band came on two hours late and appeared to be miming.
The lateness shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone anymore, but do they offer any proof that he was lip-synching? - Quote :
“He sux, it sounds like sh*t,” exclaimed another.
Wouldn't lip-synching/miming eliminate that problem? If anything, wouldn't he sound "too good"? - Quote :
Audience members reportedly began leaving the event in droves as the sound problems continued.
"Sound problems" is kinda vague. Feedback? No sound? Cd skipping? Judging from past tantrums, if there is any sort of audio problems, Axl would stomp off stage in a tizzy. Seeing how there isn't a report of that happening, I'm calling BS on that comment. - Quote :
“I think it’s an imitation band – it is absolutely terrible,” one concert goer said shortly after the concert began.
Were they not aware that it's not Slash, Izzy, Duff, Steven and Axl anymore? You paid for a ticket, attended the show, but you're not a fan? The guy seems to be doing quite alright touring Europe, South America and just about everywhere except the United States. That whole blurb sounds like more of a reporter or journalist that has a beef with the GnR Axl Rose Experience and is just trying to stir up some sh*t. FAN-BOY AWAY!! _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Did you watch the video? The mic isn't even near his face a couple times and you can hear him. He's obviously not miming along to the Appetite album, but something funny is going on. _________________ FINAL SIGN

| Ah,my bad. I thought it was just an ad. Didn't let it keep playing. Anyhooo...
Hmmmmm, well something does seem amiss in the performance. I can't deny that. Sound delay? Not likely. Maybe they're onto something here.
Still, 16,000 people showed up for "The GnR tribute band featuring Axl Rose", who has known timing issues and yet folks seemed surprised and upset by this. I can't hardly feel sorry for them. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. The gain on his mic would have to be cranked to a ridiculous level to still pick up his voice that far from his mouth, something screwy going on there.

Exactly. You buy the ticket, you buy all the drama that comes with it. It's no secret how a GNR show goes so to me it's like people are spending their money just to go to the show and whine about how bad it was. Newsflash -- stop giving Axl your money and maybe he'll get his stage act together. I would LOVE to see a GNR show, whether Original Guns OR Hired Guns but I'm not sure I would ever go for this very reason. I don't want to be caught up in some riot or get home at 4 am or whatever. As for the lip-syncing, yeah, it's lame but he's not the only person that does it. Probably just had a really bad night with his voice because I've never heard this accusation before. He's got all kinds of oxygen tanks in his dressing room to help him and they probably just weren't doing the job.

| Uncle Saxon I am sure will love this poll look who's at #1 !!!!
Guns N' Roses vocalist Axl Rose has been voted the greatest lead singer of all time by readers of MusicRadar.com, ahead of such legendary vocalists as Freddy Mercury, Robert Plant, Ronnie James Dio, John Lennon and Bruce Dickinson.
MusicRadar.com says: "The public have spoken. Forget the caricature of recent years and think back to the late 1980s — he was dangerous, lean, angry, confrontational, and controversial. The hotheaded, horny ginger stepchild of Steven Tyler and Robert Plant, a born rock star who made being fashionably late a lifestyle choice and started riots in the process."
MusicRadar.com's 30 greatest lead singers of all time:
1. Axl Rose (Guns N' Roses) 2. Freddie Mercury (Queen) 3. Robert Plant (Led Zeppelon) 4. Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, Rainbow, Elf) 5. John Lennon (The Beatles) 6. Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) 7. Thom Yorke (Radiohead) 8. Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) 9. Matt Bellamy (Muse) 10. Paul McCartney (The Beatles) 11. Jim Morrison (The Doors) 12. James Hetfield (Metallica) 13. Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle) 14. Mick Jagger (The Rolling Stones) 15. James LaBrie (Dream Theater) 16. Bon Scott (AC/DC) 17. Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) 18. Roger Daltrey (The Who) 19. Geddy Lee (Rush) 20. Morrissey 21. Liam Gallagher (Oasis) 22. Jack White (The White Stripes) 23. Joe Strummer (The Clash) 24. Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac) 25. Iggy Pop (The Stooges) 26. Smokey Robinson 27. Black Francis / Frank Black 28. Diana Ross 29. Debbie Harry (Blondie) 30. Martha Reeves

Now there's a shocker. I'm actually surprised that Dio didn't win just because of his somewhat recent departure. Death is usually a sure fire way to win extra votes. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. This list is not that impressive, I like Oasis but Liam who made the list has to be one of the least engaging frontmen in rock history, he just stands there with his hands behind his back!
