However, he's one of our Great American Douches. Right up there with Larry Flynt.

At least he isn't asking for "pledges" to record a new lp.

I've met Nugent 3 times and he has never demanded anything of me.

The video posted is a guy wanting an autograph that professionally sells rock star autographs and Nugent knew it. Not saying Nugent can't be a douche, but this video is a bit deceptive.

And you know this how? How do you know the guys are not just big fans such as yourself? Could be Uncle Ted just got notified by the state that all his underage girlfriends are starting a class-action suit against him and he needs ever dime he can get. I mean, it could happen....

This video was posted long ago on the Nugent forum and he explained himself. He said when you've been around long enough, you get to know who these guys are. Sure, he could have just been acting like a douche here, who knows? I've seen videos of other rock stars acting similarly. I think there is a video of Gene Simmons on YouTube getting irate about signing something.

Like I said, I've met him 3x and he signed everything I threw at him without a question. My buddy, who was a Nugent fanatic, had him sign some where around 100 things; albums, ads, magazine covers, all kinds of crap. Nugent sat there and reminisced about the stuff and never balked about signing them.

I know you hate Nugent, Saxon, and I am not going to defend some of the things he's done in his life. I just presented my knowledge of the video/situation.

I can dig it.

But, just to play devil's advocate, Nuge has a great way of twisting every situation to make his side of things seem righteous. No reason he would not justify his douche-bagery, that was caught on vid, in his own forum with words like that.

And, yeah, like a good communist, I will continue to propagate anything negative about Nugent and GnR that I can come across. If I can convince even one sheep to run away from the shears, it will have been worth it.

Hahahahahaha, I just snotted from laughing.

I remember seeing that RJD clip a few years back, but I'd forgotten how angry he is in it. It's kind of jarring considering the way he conducts himself most of the time.

Ted is the man. The world would be a better place if more people acted like him.

I'm no uber-fan of Uncle Ted, but generally speaking, he seems to be a pretty cool guy when it comes to his fans. If he's being a dick to this particular guy, there must be more to it, like Ult said.

And even if he stood in the freezing cold for 8 hours signing autographs, the first guy that got turned away at the 8 hour 1 minute mark is gonna feel slighted.
