Just pre-ordered the "Big Four" Box Set

I'm pretty excited! I just pre-ordered this from amazon.com. Can't wait for this to arrive! Pre-orders arrive on release day.

that's a nice package, but i'm not going to get the deluxe set. i just want the concert on dvd.

Glad the DVD will have complete show footage from each band. I don't care for having an audio concert cd if it is also available on DVD. Nowadays, I prefer them.

I actually prefer the CD. I rarely have time to watch DVDs, but I do spend a lot of time listening to music; at work, driving, at the gym, etc.

I really enjoyed the Rust In Peace Live cd that Megadeth just put out.... I enjoy the Live CDs. Like Scott, I don't usually have time to watch the DVDs, but I will make time for these. I really love buying box sets.

Same here. Even if I got the deluxe box set set (which is pretty nice), I don't imagine I'd watch the dvd's more than once, whereas the cd's would get repeated spins.

The last few times I've "Pre-Ordered" new releases through Amazon, I got them a week after release date, so I'm more likely to head to Hastings or some place on release day. Surly they will have this.

I'm stoked about it too. I am with a lot of you as I will get more repeat spins out of the CDs where as the DVDs will only be viewed every once in a long while.

This would be awesome news had it happened in 1989. I hardly ever listen to any of the "Big Four" bands much anymore, Not to mention it direspects such awesome bands as Whiplash, Holy Terror, Exodus etc.

I like live DVDs and CDs. But, I don't want to pay the money for that deluxe set. It will look good on my Xmas list.

I prefer music DVDs & blu-rays at this point in time if they are available. I have a couple sets with both the DVD & Audio CD and the CD ends up never getting played.

I'm somewhat curious about this one, mostly for the Slayer set.

I'm there too but not because of lack of time, I just don't find myself wanting to watch my concert DVDs. I have several I haven't ever watched and they've been collecting dust for years. I do listen to live CDs though.
