Wow, you went far back into their catalog for that one. I like it a lot but it's too "punky" for a lot of those only familiar with their more recent stuff.

Yeah, pretty much up until the self-titled they were a punk band. Lots of rock influence, but it didn't all gel until the self-titled. Those early albums threw me for a loop when I first heard them. I like punk, though, so it was all good.

This is my first foray into their catalog. I've been looking into their stuff and I came across that one cheap on ebay ($4), so I figured I'd start there. I've read that they've matured and changed on pretty much every album they've released so far though, so I'm trying to keep an open mind on the sound here. I think I'd enjoy their more recent material more though from the stuff I've heard.

Yea, I saw that when I ordered the new Accept album. I was gonna start there as well, but then I found the debut on ebay for $1.80 + s/h. I figured I'd start at the beginning and work my way up if I liked what I heard. From what I read, they just keep getting better, right?

I'll probably go back to Metal Season at some point, but my Paypal account is dry at the moment. Been on a bit of a tear as of late with my music budget.
