No, it's not. Haha. And seriously, pathetic that Dio dies and all of a sudden everyone are buddy-buddy again. I don't see much integrity in this.

Considering Ozzy was the original singer, and sometimes a mutual loss brings people together personally I dont see a problem with it but then again its probobly cuz I like Ozzy and am not one of those Dio is god fantics

This is probably going to be one of the last chances to do it if they are serious. _________________

| I think we're all over analyzing this comment. Ozzy is out promoting a new album right now and doing all kinds of press. How many times a day do you think he gets asked the question "Any chance of a new Sabbath album?" If he's says "No f**king way", he looks like a douche. If he says "Sure", he looks like an ass if it doesn't happen. It's just easier to say "Maybe, you never know, anything is possible" and let a bunch of internet fan-boys debate the issue. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Even if there was a Sabbath album with Ozzy on vocals coming - colour me unimpressed. The last Ozzy solo disc is really not that good vocally. I would love to see the Black Box 3 with the Martin and Gillian albums re-mastered than new Ozzy-led Sabbath material. | |

| I don't see any problem with it happening. Its just gotta let itself take it's course. Both parties have a lot going on at the moment so anything is possible.
I'd love to see this happen though because I am a huge Black Sabbath fan.

| I also would not mind it. However I would like it Iommi would honour the Black Sabbath legacy IN FULL with remasters of all discs. Those discs are part of Sabbath's history as much as the albums with Ozzy and Dio are. | |

| Ozzy has so much FX on the vocals they don't even need him to do the vocals. |

And there is a demand for this - across all Sabbath-related forums I saw the cries of re-masters of the Tony Martin discs - this era is much neglected in Sabbath history and for no good reason. Tony was a phenomenal singer and Sabbath released some epic masterpieces with him on vocals. There no need to dismiss those discs as most people tend to do.

| Tony Martin is a great singer, but the man had the hardest job of anyone not only did he have to follow four legends Ozzy, Dio, Ian Gillan, and Glenn Hughes, but had to deal with bad management, record label politics, and general critical distain simply because he was not Ozzy or Dio, but IMO he carved out his own unique legacy in Black Sabbath. | |

Again totally true. He managed to have a unique take on the Sabbath sound - not similar to both Ozzy or Dio. Great stuff all around. I have heard stories about him being mistreated in that band - mostly by Iommi. I wish the remasters (even if they have to be in boxed set form) would see the light of the day for the man to be recognized as legitmate part of Sabbath's history. The guy sang on more albums than Dio did!

| It's odd Iommi would treat him badly, he kept him around for quite a few albums. I think the problem with Tony is most of the songwriting wasn't up to par so it leaves them unmemorable, The Headless Cross being a huge exception. |

I think the idea was Martin was the "fall-back-on" vocalist in that era of Sabbath. Either way - I think the songwriting was actually great - just different in style than before with more emphasis on melody and mood. "Tyr" is an exceptional metal album for example - epic songwriting, power, riffs, melodies - it has them all.

I disagree I liked all of Martin Sabbath led albums with the expection of 'Forbidden'

I haven't checked on it lately but I do recall the guy who runs black-sabbath.com mentioning awhile back that a boxset of the remaining Sabbath albums was in the works, although not necessarily in the immediate future. Hopefully that'll still happen.

| While there is no indication whether Iommi is going to form another version of Black Sabbath or a reunion with Ozzy or another solo album but it is good news he is feeling inspired:
Black Sabbath guitartist Tony Iommi has revealed to U.K.'s Metal Hammer magazine that he has begun work on new material with the hopes of launching the "next phase" of his career alongside longtime Sabbath bandmate/bassist Geezer Butler. Whether or not this will be part of a Black Sabbath reunion or a new project remains unclear right now, but Iommi has said, "What I'm doing now is writing. I've gone mad, writing loads of riffs again. I'm really enjoying it, putting stuff together. We will be doing something. I'm in touch with Geezer a lot now and we’ve been talking about what the next phase is going to be. It'll be great to get out and do something again. I don't normally say this, but there's some great ideas coming out. That's all I've got to do right now. Sit and write riffs!"
Earlier this month, Iommi and Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan headed back into the studio, joined by keyboardist Jon Lord (Deep Purple, Whitesnake) and drummer Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) to record a new track, "Out Of My Mind," to raise money to rebuild a music school in Armenia.
Surviving Heaven & Hell members Iommi, Butler and Vinny Appice played a very special tribute to their singer, Ronnie James Dio, on July 24th at the High Voltage festival at Victoria Park in London, England. The musicians were joined by legendary former Deep Purple and Black Sabbath vocalist Glenn Hughes and Norwegian singer Jorn Lande (Masterplan).

| Whether or not Tony and Geezer want to work on a new album with Ozzy, the music will kick ass. If it's with Ozzy (unlikely), that's awesome! He's been singing fantastic live recently. If it's with another singer, I just hope they pick the right person. I would love to see Chris Cornell on vocals. That would be interesting. | |
