Don't Tread is a great album! Not sure why I never picked it up, as I dig the debut, but I'm glad I finally dig.

Forever's Edge features some dude's from Suspyre, but play a more flowery power metal. Good stuff.

Yep, that's how I discovered it. I still love Marvelous 3 but there was a time when I was really getting into that poppy hard rock like Marv 3, Tsar, Ringo, American Hi-Fi, etc.

As much as I love thrash, I can enjoy a nice pop album when it's done right. My Beatles and Cheap Trick albums sit comfortably on the shelves with Slayer and Testament.

That was my original impression too but repeated listens have levelled out the entire disc IMO. Nothing really horrible and Outrage, Better Than Them, I Stand Alone and the title track are the highlights.

I guess what impresses me the most is that I bought the first two Sister Sin albums and didn't think much of them at all. After listening to the new one I think they've improved 1000%.
