Doug Pinnick also toured Europe with Living Colour as a fill-in lead vocalist a few years back. Not sure why the regular LC guy wasn't able to tour, tho.

King's X - though I don't really think the bands are comparable, they are coming from a very different mindset.

Anything can be compared.

Someone could start a thread to compare Slayer with Depeche Mode. There's nothing wrong with comparing apples to oranges. All things can be measured against the other.

It's funny everytime there is a thread like this. Someone always has to say something like 'they are not comparable'. Sure they are comparable.

They both shared the same lead singer for crying out loud! They both play metal with soul and funk in it (that is afterall, a pretty rare thing in itself).

But even if this thread was about King's X vs. Iron Maiden. You just vote for who you like better of the two. It's that simple really.

In this poll I went for King's X. Hands down. I can't stand Living Colour.
