| Albuquerque Trip Pics: I'm not a train nut, but I like them and do model railroading. This is my favorite pic of a few I took of this train. There was a road name I'd never seen. I found that Albuquerque has some fantastic museums. This was a hands-on one called Explora! and the kids went twice. At that museum they had giant Lincoln Log-type toys. Most of the great museums were all within one block and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science was one of them. They have a ancient creature theme right now. This is "Stan" in what I call "about to die" mode. Stan is the seconds largest T-Rex skeleton ever found, just smaller than Sue. Old Town Albuquerque. Very cool with great shops and diners and things to spend your money on in a hurry. Grammy's girls. The Alb Zoo, Aquarium and Botanical Gardens were all connected and part of a package (if you wanted to buy the package) and this was the farm section of the Gardens. Smiley. Great trip. Momma was on a conference, but had enough down time to do some things. Also, we stayed a couple days longer on our dime so we could hang out. Alb is about half way between Abilene and Chandler, AZ so my parents drove out for three days. Got to meet Ult and lift weights with him. Nice guy and absurdly strong! You can tell he's good-people because his daughter was polite as can be and their strong relationship was obvious. Now I must meet other folks. Ult was my "first". The Albuquerque International Balloon Feista just happened to be going on at the same time and it's a massive deal...but we were down-town and the wind was blowing North so my wife and I saw exactly two balloons way off in the distance. | |

Still no pics of me, but MetalGal08 and MetalLad08 are ready for the post-season. Go Phillies! You have beautiful children, I am assuming they get their good looks from their mother. They bear a striking resemblence to our mail man, but I don't think it's anything to be concerened about.

| Scott, great pics.
I love the mirror one with the train. Every time I try and get a shot like that I almost drive off the road.
Also I hope they let adults play along at Explora. Those giant lincoln logs look like too much fun.

| Oh, I was playing right along with them. We built this damn in this erosion experiment with these rubber pieces that reminded the girls of tiny pop-tart crumbs! I haven't built a damn in 20 years!! | |

| I build a damn every day driving to work. I say I'm going to remain calm and sure enough, some guy pulls out in front of me and crawls and I go "Damn!!!!". Great pics BTW Scott. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| They were at the other two games across town. Hardin-Simmons (d3) is nationally ranked and ACU (DII) is #2 in the nation. McMurry is a tiny (1100 people??) college and now 0-8. This was their homecoming, even! | |

I agree. Especially when they're someone else's kids. I was thinking that during Trick Or Treating last night. I really had fun handing out candy to those little kids but I was also really glad those kids weren't mine. Nice pix though. | I like this one a lot. So much going on. Ball in flight, Ref watching the ball (but not the players), fan and dog in background. Girls oblivious to game in background on cell phone. This is my best action shot yet. This kid was flagged for a 15 yard "helmet -to- helmet" penalty. My stroke of luck photo showed a text-book tackle and perfectly legal. Stuffing her (frito) pie hole!! Psycho fan! I haven't got a kick-off perfect yet. Form!! Splitting the up-rights! The moon a few weeks ago.
