Well Anacrusis isn't one of the better bands of the genre.....

Glad this band is back!

Highly original, creative act.

This however was not my favorite album from them.

Anacrusis rules! But why would they practice anything from Suffering Hour when they could play Still Black or My Soul's Affliction?

I am surprised that they are working on a new album, but I am intrigued to see what will happen.

I've read that they are working on re-recording Suffering Hour, thus the reason they are probably playing those songs.

huh. I just checked their website, and it looks like Reason is also being redone.

It will be interesting to hear new versions of these songs. I have a hard time listening to the first 2 albums without just changing over to the later albums.

I don't think Anacrusis are working on new album. Hope I'm wrong though. This rehearsal's purpose is to get ready for the upcoming shows.

According to Ken, Suffering Hour and Reason are re-recorded, mixed and mastered, and the CDs are at the pressing plant already. They would be released in a monstrously MASSIVE 8-panel double digiack, with 32-page booklet designed by Ken Nardi.

Should be on sale at the 2010 Reunion Show at T Billy Buffett's at St. Louis, MO on Sunday April 18th (FREE show all ages) and a week later at Keep It True festival, Germany.

Mike Owen, they are in the original line up from 1987-1990
