I'd love to see this show but I don't get the Bret Michaels connection other than I hear his newest solo album is basically southern rock.

I'm just not a fan of southern rock.

I bought Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Innyrds" GH album last year and gave them a chance.

Pass. Way too boring for me.

I like Poison, but I am not much of a fan of Bret Michael' solo stuff.

So double pass.

Personally I still think you're suffering from inner ear damage due to the growling crap you like but at least you gave them a listen and your opinion is respected.

Skynyrd is a top 10 fav band of mine of all time. The other 2 turn me off here though..

Take out Bret and 38 special and id be there cigarette lighter shouting FREEBIRD!!!!!

I'd go see Bret Michaels, but I'm afraid of the boredom that would engulf me during the other two bands sets.

Skynyrd in their prime (early to mid 70's) was an amazing band.
Early 38 Special is listenable,they did write some good tunes.
Brett Michael's, well is Bret Michaels. He is gonna bring the trailer park counterparts to Jon Bon Jovi's soccer moms to the shows. Who will relive the wilds of their long gone youth by pulling up the t shirts and showing stretchmarks and saggy breasts. Not to mention the skanky chicks supposing they have hidden cameras everywhere filming the new BM reality show.
The strongest aspects of the recent version of Skynyrd died recently. That being Billy Powell and longtime Outlaw guit-slinger Hughie Thomasson.

Yeah, Hughie's gonna be tough to replace. Even with Skynyrd's triple axe attack I could always pick out Hughie. He had a unique style IMO. And Billy's keyboard work will be just as tough to replace.

Just replace Skynyrd with Blackfoot or Molly Hatchet, that'll make the show worthwhile.
