Yep - a couple of songs even have Bob Kulick and Aldo Nova on them. It is a really good late eighties AOR type album. I'll admit it's a little "softer" than I remember with a bunch of keyboard-y ballads with Love in the title all over the album. It's very dated from that time frame. And yet I can't stop listening to it. Maybe the nostaglia talking, but I love it.

Dennis Day - Christmas Is For The Family (1957) & Bing Crosby - Songs of Christmas (1960)



Funny thing is -- I don't have a record player! But I like Bing and Dennis and for $1 a piece, I'm happy. Dennis was on Jack Benny's (the guy in my avatar) radio & TV show. Jack Benny also does the introduction on the album and appears on the cover dressed as Santa. I would love to hear what he says on this album. Now I just need to find a cheap record player!

Also, some house had 13 issues of Classic Rock magazine from 2007-2009. I just started reading the magazine in 2009 and love it. I was prepared to spend $1 a piece but got'em all for $3 total!

Thanks! Those old crooners had so many releases they couldn't keep 'em straight. Rate Your Music, Bing's Wiki page and All Music Guide had no listing for this album but I was able to track it down by googling the issue number. I'm not sure if it's a compilation or new recordings but oh well.
