I got KISS - Sonic Boom as a gift. The version with Kiss Klassics and DVD. I knew the reviews were good, but the album was still a positive surprise for me. The package is nice, since I don't even own anything else by the band. Didn't watch the DVD yet.

I bought Avantasia's new one also Saturday. The deluxe two CD + photo book thingy. I didn't play it yet, but today for sure.

Yea my friend started getting into him and he got me into it too. I liked some of the Genesis Gabriel stuff so figured why not especially at those prices haha. I heard his new one is bad though. I heard some samples from it and its nothing but an orchestra and him doing cover songs and they are really slow....painfully slow so I think I'll have to skip that one.

Cool.. haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. For some reason people compare them to my band. So I had to check them out. I have all the albums and I don't see it.
