I don't know about essintial, but I'd add some Jerusalem and Rez perhaps? Rainbow?

Gotta be some Who and Kinks in there somewhere too. How about Rossington Collins Band for the southern rock one? Maybe some Atlanta Rhythm Section on that one too.

It was a thread started on another board that I thought was cool. The list above was mine. Everyone else had different lists. Afterwards I thought I would actually put together this set on my Ipod.
