Tyr - By the Light of the Northern Star

Any fans of this Viking/Pagan Metal band from the Faroe Islands? Incredible that such a good band comes from such a small place.

Love what I've heard of this band. Their new album is towards the top of my list.

I like Tyr a lot. By the Light of the Northern Star is much better than the predecessor Land (which wasn't bad either). I have only these two albums and know a few tracks from Ragnarok. So I cant compare to their back catalog.

I loved their first disc. The rest... meh... not so much.

I am a big fan, each offering is getting better. Usually one of the best bands on the Pagan Fest Tour.

Pagan Fest is where I first heard them. They just had a short 3-4 song set on the Paganfest USA (I) and I was blown away. I missed them when they were in Texas on Jan 22 again and I've been kicking myself since.
