| Alright, first posting here. Been to a lot of metal forums. Seems to me that on this one people actually know their metal. Figured I should join here. Anyways, a little about me. I've been married for 4 years to my wife, Christine (like the car!). We have one son together, Jac. I'm self-employed. Got house in the burbs, so the usual trek into the city for work. Got two dogs, a cat, a tank full of piranhas. A collector of metal, horror, and a minor collector technology of yesteryears. Politically incorrect and a Sox fan.
Musically, been into metal since I picked up Def Leppard (still have the tape) and it exploded since then. Went through the glam stage, thrash/speed, death/black, power, heavy and all the sub-genres in between. Now I seem to be comfortably set in my ways of a combination of those. Collectionwise. I would have to say a couple hundred CDs, cassettes, vinyls and (at last count) roughly 400+ shirts.
Favorite bands currently: Axxis, Grave Digger, U.D.O., Running Wild, Seventh Avenue, Place Vendome, Rebellion and Lizzy Borden (cant ALL be German metal).
As for my username, took it from Annihilator. Works well for other forums I'm part of. So, I'm sticking to it here. Let's up the irons!

| WELCOME!!!
Your tastes seem very much like most of ours here. We're into a variety of metal (and even some of us like some non-metal music as well). Hope you hang out and enjoy it here!

| Chicago's a cool town. Found some great used music shops the one time I was there. Saw some good live blues there too. Make yourself at home. Keep your feet off the furniture. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. All I've ever seen of Chicago was the inside of O'Hare Airport, where I spent an hour or two before picking up a connecting flight to Wisconsin. Nice airport. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I stayed in a hotel right across the street from the park with that big fountain that's shown in the opening credits from "Married With Children". _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | LOL. I looked at the pic before I read the post and the first thing I thought was "Hey, that's the fountain from Married With Children!" _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I just grabbed that pic from Google images, but I have one that I took with my camera that is nearly identical, like every typical tourist. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was.
