Behemoth any good?

been seeing this band name everywhere and they seem to be very popular atm what are your thoughts,opinions?

if you like black/death metal, then yes, they are very good. you won't find many fans on this forum though... this place is more for bands like Stryper, Megadeth, & Hammerfall.

Solid and professional band. If you don't mind the lyrics/image, you should be able to enjoy them.

I like em. I've only got one album, but I do spin it from time to time.

F*cking awesome band! I'd advise starting with the some "Ov Fire And The Void"

Used to like their first album a lot back in the day. Nowadays I never listen to them.

I don't like their lyrics. Their music is amazing though.

I like them quite a bit. I got into them around the time Zos Kias Cultus came out and have enjoyed all their recent releases.

Death, Necrophagist, Extol, and In Flames come to mind.

Behemoth? Not so much.

Death metal stuff, zzzz. Transitional black metal/death metal stuff..not too bad. Lyrics, zzzz. Nergal knows how to manage though, lol.

Traditional Death Metal - me likey
Melodic Death Metal - me lovey
Traditional Black Metal - not so much ... zzzzz (boring)
Symphonic Black Metal - mmmm me lovey very very much!!!
Grindcore - it's okay
Metalcore - I like a little of it



Overall - I'm a fan of the extreme.

Extreme metal may be musically interesting.

I just can't help to laugh at this excessive make up
