Mantra Sect (Gus Chambers)

Just discovered this band tonight while looking for some old school Gus Chambers bands. Never knew about these guys, but it appears to have been his last active project.

They're a mix of punk and hardcore, but they're also heavy, with a lot of metal influence. The song "Mercytron" is pretty cool to hear. On Grip Inc's first demo, there was a song called "Mercitron." I've never heard that demo, but there's a good chance it was similar to this Mantra Sect version; it sort of has a Grip Inc feel at times.
