I'm really diggin' this band. Ultimatum performed with them this past weekend and they blew me away. They are sort of a cross betweeen Destruction and Voivod. Very unusual vocals. Super technical thrash metal, yet they don't forsake melody. Check 'em out.

Good band, and definitely generating a lot of buzz. I think Ult's Voivod meets Destruction description is dead on.

I'm freaking loving their cd! Sci-Fi Prog Thrash! I'm also hearing some old '70's Rush in there at times. Incredible stuff!

Sounds very cool. The vocals need some getting used to, but they have the musical chops.

Vocals do not have a black metal quality. I don't understand where people are getting that from. They remind me a bit of Chuck from Death at times and at other times, Schmier from Destruction. Quite unique actually.

Yeah, the vocals are certainly blackened.

In fact, this band reminds me of Skeletonwitch! I'm liking this!!!





I can see the Destruction and Voivod comparison though. I'd say it like a mix of Destruction, Voivod and Skeletonwitch! Giving it just enough of a modern edge to not sound dated. I need to get this!!!

They sound like "GOOD" to me (hee hee hee)

Killer band, I really like the songs I heard on space'. I actually dig the lyrics quite a bit, I totally get the 1950s and 60's sci fi vibe.

Wow, pretty good stuff! Can definitely hear the Voivod / Destruction comparison. I'd say they also sound a touch like Terrahsphere.

Seriously, this band is a nice discovery. Do they just have the one album out?

No, they have an independent EP out as well.

I'm liking what I've heard on their myspace site. I'll hopefully be seeing them live on Dec. 30th.

Wow, that actually sounds pretty cool. The production is just a tad too clean though imo, would've liked a grittier and rawer sound. I have to agree that vocals are black metal-like. That guy sounds like a carbon copy of Franta Storm of Master's Hammer. I really like the cover though.

Just heard them on you tube. Mind blowing metal! I hope their albums are not a pain the ass to find

I'm seriously contemplating getting this in one of my next hauls.

i think that they do. does it bother you that people hear a BM influence in the vox?

It seems like 95% of everyone is saying that about the vox.

I don't think that's a bad thing at all though. For me it's actually a complement. I like black metal.

Though I realize this band isn't black metal, just a little with the vocals.

I really dig the vocals, even though I'm not much of a black metal fan anymore. I'm definitely gonna pick up their album. The more I listen to the stuff on myspace the more I'm liking it.
