| Wow, Vince Neil's first solo album KILLS!!! I got this bad boy a while back, and it's a very frequent player for me. Steve Stevens just shreds on guitar!!! It's like hearing lightning strike. Anyway - does anyone else here like Vince's solo stuff? | |

| Haven't heard that album in ages. My wife has a copy and I steal it out of her CD case once every blue moon. I haven't been a Crue fan since SHOUT AT THE DEVIL but I had to admit that ol' Vincey put a pretty decent band together on that record. I especially like the cover of "Set Me Free," though truthfully I think Heathen did it better. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Not a bad album but in reality this maybe should have been labeled as a Steve Stevens solo albums featuring vocals by Vince Neil. The album features leads, solos and more leads from Steve Stevens and shows who was really in the driver's seat as far musical direction and creative vision, of course we are talking about Vince Neil here, nobody has ever accussed him of having creative vision. | |

| The guitar is great on this album, but I also think that Vince never sounded better! There is just something special about this album to me. | |

| I'd like to check out some of Steve Stevens' other stuff. That guy has to be one of the world's best guitarists. He's up there with Steve Vai IMO. | |

i know he makes a living singing about girls and stuff but that album was to the point of the absurd. Not even MC managed to write about satisfying the carnal urge all the time.. I had hoped he would expand his horizons a little I guess.. _________________

Definatly one of my favorite melodic hard rock albums of all time. I heard some samples of Carved In Stone but it did not appeal to me especially when I heard rap in the music (though not as bad as the rap in Tommy Lee's band).

| Never heard the whole album. I only remember the single "You're Invited" which didn't impress me. I stuck with the Crue during that split. I had no interest in Vince's solo efforts. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

That maybe the case on who wrote what, but it struck me how much more guitar oriented this album was compared to Motley Crue (ok also guitar oriented but not as many fills and solos as this album has) and compared to his work with Billy Idol. I was very surprised how much free reign Vince Neil gave to Steve Stevens.

| Love both solo efforts and am anxious for the new one to come out in a couple months! Steve Stevens is killer! His solo record was great. Heck, I even loved Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana" because of Stevens' solo on it. Seriously, give that song a listen and see if you don't think Stevens just blistered that track! Arttie | |
