| These bands are truly innovative and original: KYUSS, SIGH, INTO ETERNITY and DR. KNOW. What do you think of these particular bands? KYUSS created desert metal, SIGH are weirder than weird, INTO ETERNITY were among the first to combine death metal with power metal and DR.KNOW's "WRECKAGE IN FLESH" is probably the greatest SCI-FI Thrash concept album ever made.What do you think? - | |

Well...Desert Rock was the term I heard more often. Kyuss was from Death Valley California, they used to throw "generator parties" out in the desert, that's how they got a cult following going. To be honest though, I never heard that term used to describe them until WAY after they had broken up. They don't really fit any genres. |
