- Sister Double Happiness- Uncut
I've got three albums by these guys, have listened quite a bit, and still don't know what to make of them. They seem to be from California, but they sound more like a swamp band. Molly Hatchet crossed with 16 HP or something, although not as good as either of those. Strange band.
I have a Roky Erickson tribute album that has them on it along with ZZ Top, Primal Scream, Julian Cope, Richard Lloyd, REM, Butthole Surfers, Thin White Rope, Jesus & Mary Chain etc etc etc.
They sound interesting given your description. That Roky tribute was where I first heard them also, and I'm guessing that he might have been their biggest influence. They also remind me of Gun Club at times, but not the prime stuff, more the Pastoral Hide & Seek/ Divinity era. The other Sister Double Happiness album and EP aren't as hard rocking. They have a distinct indie feel about them, and the dude sound a little too much like Kermit The Frog, but yes, they are interesting even though maybe not all that good.

Vince Neil - Exposed was inspired by Metallic Blaze's thread so I spun it Everytime I revisit old Deliverance, I feel the same way. I get all warm and fuzzy even. How do you like that Vince Neil album? Isn't the guitar amazing? I swear, that has to be one of the most underrated and underappreciated albums in hard rock.
