A lot of great bands here. Every music fan should have Ned's Atomic Dustbin's God Fodder in their collection. They were also a killer live band. Saw them at an WHFS festival and they completely stole the show even with Iggy Pop on the bill.

Live. I never stop listening to 'Throwing Copper'. The debut and
'Secret Samadhi' have some strong songs as well. After that it was
like...2 per album, and then...nothing.

I also enjoy the first
two Jars of Clay a lot. Adrien Belew (Talking Heads, King Crimson) did
some production work on their debut that worked superbly with their
sound.

Yeah, I like Jars of Clay too.

Also, like Alanis Morissette, Goo Goo Dolls and Gin Blossoms.

Sloan was definately an under-appreciated band. Good stuff and very unique.

SLOAN ruled...."Underwhelmed" is STILL on my Itunes....

I like UNCLE SAXON AND THE MOMENTOUS SWINGIN" DINGERS....when they hit the stage you had to have a shovel to get all the panties after the set!!!

Too bad the 'Dingers got overshadowed for so long and forced Uncle Saxon to go solo.... His new band, Vainy Titz, is MASSIVE right now [in some villages around Lake Geneva].
