Tony Carey!!! How cool, I only have one solo album 'One Tough City' great album and his Planet P Project was brillant, and while Ritchie Blackmore is my favorite guitarist (well maybe second, Hendrix is my fav) I still have not gotten around to buying any of his and wife's band project.

I rounded up all of Tony Carey's albums. I scored a bunch of them from a guy in St. Petersburg, Russia. I also have all the Planet P albums including the new ones he's released the last couple of years (the style has changed a lot though; it's more mellow).

His solo stuff is great. I really like his voice and his songwriting style.

Just got Coup De Grace this week. I'm slowly turning into a rabid fan. Only missing their first 2 albums now. Know where I can get 'em cheap? Frequencies... & Time Traveling Blues both seem a bit pricey for me on Amazon & ebay.

Excellent choices! They are all some of my faves as well! And you're right - The Cure does well in the fall. I like em in the spring too. I need to take my Cure discs out and spin them in fact. Thanks for reminding me.

Porcupine Tree - I'm fairly new to them, but I'm liking the two albums I have quite well.

Yeah, agreed...great to see this stuff still being enjoyed and newer bands creating worthwhile additions to the genre. I've been on a major prog kick for the past couple months, don't see it letting up anytime soon either.

Early Steve Miller was great stuff circa '68-'73, '74-'78 was good stuff too. After that it got kinda hit and miss IMO but Wide River was a real good album.
