Ult awesome there has been some amazing thrash coming out in the last few years. Sure the elitist thrash fans say it's not as good as it was in the 80's but dam it sure is close!

Hyades are my favorite of the new crop.Also really like Municipal Waste for the crossover sound.Hatchet are great as well as Gama Bomb

I know the songwriting on Evile's first was a bit same-y, but the band show a lot of promise! Gama Bomb is just so fun. Simple, terse, no-frills...can't get enough of it!

I really liked Evile and the Dekapitator album. Mantic Ritual shows a lot of promise.

Are you guys taking about the German band Warpath? If so, they have been around almost 20 years now. Hardly a "new" thrash band. If it is a different Warpath, I don't know anything about 'em. But, I will agree that there are tons of new bands that I dig every bit as much as the old stuff. Bonded by Blood comes instantly to mind.

Yeah Witchburner's last outing they released was in 2007. The album is called "Blood of Witches". Very good disc!!

I only just started checking out these new wave thrash bands, so a lot of these names are new to me. Going around and sampling their music online (thank God for the internet), the ones that strike me as having the most potential are Evile, Warpath, Dekapitator (fun cover art!), Mantic Ritual, Savage Messiah, and Warbringer.
