Those first two are some of the best death/doom albums IMO (they were actually the origionators of the beauty and the beast vocal team). They made me a fan of Liv Kristine (although I like Leaves' Eyes, it's too bad they don't sound like that). ...A Distance There Is... (from the s/t) is one of the most beautiful songs ever.

I'm really looking forward to getting into Theatre of Tragedy. I've been a fan of Leaves' Eyes for years now. So it's about time I explored Liv's first band.

I'm completely unfamiliar with them at this point (save for knowing who they are).

As stated above they are a doom/death band in vein of Paradise Lost and My Dying Bride but with dual female and male growls. There is also a slight classical sound provided by piano and string insturments.
