I know exactly one Pat Travers song.
The party classic:
"Boom, Boom (c'mon), Out Go The Lights!!!"
Gotta play the live version.

I love Pat Travers I really love his work, Makin Magic, Putting It Straight, Heat In The Streets....... His stuff today is not so much diffent than his past work but to me it has more blues bases. He still can whale a geetar. I have a DVD of his coming it is from 1975 so it should be classic Pat!
Good choice ULT!

I saw Pat Travers on the Black Pearl tour opening for Aerosmith. That is when I became a fan. Great guitarist. Great sound.

I saw him back in '82. I had "Crash & Burn" and "Go For What You Know" back in the day. He shouldve been bigger than he was. When he and his band were really clicking, he was gold.

I got into them cause Tommy Aldridge went and played with him after splitting from Black Oak Arkansas. Me is a BIG TIME Tommy Aldridge wannabe
Have nothing on cd, but got several lps
Saw him last year in a small club, more blues oriented than rock no comlaints from me for that.

Huge Pat Travers fan. Seeing him back in the 70's with Tommy Aldridge on the pots and pans got me back into drumming, the best exercise on Earth.
I recently posted a request for lyrics to his song "Stand Up". A nice person replied, but I wasn't able to access the lyrics on the link they sent. Any help? mike mp81459@yahoo.com
Thanks

I know this is an old thread but just yesterday I picked up on VINYL:
Pat Travers s/t Makin' Magic Putting It Straight Heat In The Street Crash & Burn Go For What You Know
all immaculate with original jackets and sleeves and even plastic covers all for $1 each.
I passed on "Hot Shots" cuz it was like a 1984 release. Should I have gotten it? I still can sometime soon.
