Just got the new Overkill.

I got a promo copy at my local independent record store and if you like what Overkill has been doing since Dave Linsk joined the band you will like this too. I think it's better than the last record but not as good as Killbox 13. And there is a nice surprise at the end of the record for all the old school fans!

if you got the promo theres probably a leak somewhere online but, i'm just going to wait for the album

Not an album I'd download. It would probably keep me from buying it right away. I only download things that I can't wait to hear and will buy immediately no matter what.

I do look forward to this one, though. I love their newer stuff.

good call but, i'm sure i'll buy this, i'm trying to get all the new releases of the bands i love since i wasn't there in the 80's helping them by buying their albums.

Yes, he does, but I think Overkill and Lamb of God were getting along together well on the Gigantour. When I saw them they brought Blitz onto stage to sing with them, so I would imagine Overkill are returning the favor.

IMO. Lamb of God suck.

I totally agree! But they wanted him for some reason. I personally don't like Blyth's voice too much but oh well it's just one song.

that would be so cool if chuck billy were adding vocals =D

to those who don't like LOG... that's cool. but that does not mean that his contribution to this disk will automatically suck.

Well i didn't say LOG sucks musically i just don't like Blythe's voice. And IMO the Blythe addition to the song could have been filled with a better choice as some above have stated like Chuck Billy or Warrel Dane etc.

Sweet cover art!! The scary "Overkill Green" is back!!

LOG's tribute to this disc is good for Overkill no matter what as LOG has a huge fan base that will check it out and maybe get into Overkill.

Honestly I am surprised there is a full length promo out this early.

I'm anxious to hear it . I just found out they're playing the Rex Theatre in Pittsburgh in support of the cd. Now if I could just find someone to go with me (they're a little too "extreme" for the wife)

I hear you on the "too extreme" for the wife thing. I took my lovely wife to see Deep Purple in Clearwater last month and I think even THAT frightened her.
She would have a cardiac once she heard Blitz scream during "Shred".
