| Pretty much everything other than I HEAR BLACK is gold IMO. My personal faves are FEEL THE FIRE for the 80s stuff, FROM THE UNDERGROUND AND BELOW for the 90s stuff, and RELIXIV for the '00s stuff. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I love all their albums even the dreaded 'I Hear Black' but IMO 'Years of Decay' should be the next one on your list. | |

| Don't buy anything past "I Hear Black".
The next one I would recommend is my favorite ... "Taking Over"!

| Definitely Years then I would check out Immortalis for a different side of their sound. |

| Like previously said you cant go wrong with any Overkill albums. I like the more groove style starting with Horrorscope. From the Underground and Necroshine are my two favorites. I hear Black follows closely and for all the hate that album seems to get its my 3rd favorite from the guys.
GET THEM ALL!!!! | |

| I love all the Overkill albums I have too. I don't have some of their earlier albums yet. But I agree that they are all good. My favorite of the ones I have would have to be killbox 13 and necroshine. I like necroshine for working out to | |

| I have not yet heard their last one, but as much as i`ve tried, i don`t think their newer albums are very good. I love Overkill, and i honestly think they get a lot of praise for never giving up, staying true, not selling out +++. But if say Immortalis had been a debut album by an unknown band, not many would have given it much praise. So get their albums in the order they came out... All IMO of course | |

| I like their 80s albums the most together with IRONBOUND, check them out first. NECROSHINE was not bad either. | |

But if say Immortalis had been a debut album by an unknown band, not many would have given it much praise. So get their albums in the order they came out... All IMO of course I guess I can somewhat vouche for this. I never checked out Overkill until Relivix came out. I figured since they had been around for awhile I should at least give them a try. While I didn't really care for the album, I found two of their CDs (The Killing Kind and Necroshine) in the used bin at a store and picked them up. While I liked Necroshine, it was not enough to make me want to pursue anymore of their catalogue. Then Immortalis came out, and I told myself one more try. It didn't really grab me either. From reading this thread, I guess I started in the wrong place.

| I'm a bit surprised at the lackluster response to the recent Overkill releases. I thought they were great.I suppose the groove elements turn people off but Ironbound is great return to full on thrash,I think. | |

| I think the recent Overkill output isn't bad at all - I love Relixiv, tracks like 'A Pound Of Flesh' are brilliant. My favourite release however still remains Years of Decay, so like everyone else, I'd suggest picking that one up. _________________ | |

| Love Overkill! Ironbound rule! Of all the Overkill albums, it is among my favorites. From the Underground and Below ranks very high as well.
Of the 80's album, Years of Decay is a good place to start, but I might also recommend Taking Over. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!
