I haven't played any other games all that much. Mario, Zelda for Nintendo 64. Halo, The Godfather, Saints Row, Condemned, Fear, Half Life series, GTA series, etc. Yeah, that's just about it. No I didn't. Actually I don't know what it is. But not a big fan of anime.

Does anybody remember a late 80s arcade game called "Xenophobe?" It was kinda like a cartoony version of "Alien" in which you had to protect your space ship from space creatures who hatched from eggs and would grow to ridiculous size if you didn't blast them right away. They had it in the campus game room for a while when I was in college and I was addicted to it!! They had to pry me away from the machine to close the game room some nights! I would always play as the character "Dr. Kwack" (who looked like Daffy Duck in a Star Trek uniform). I would love to play that game again!! I had mad skillz on it back in the day!!

Some other old school favorites that I thought of since my last post...

Rampage (a cartoony King Kong/Godzilla style game where you could either be a giant ape or a giant lizard knocking over buildings, crushing cars, etc.)

Spy Hunter - Another favorite. When I got the cartridge version of this for my old NES I didn't leave my room for about three days.

Narc (at the time this was released it was pretty controversial because it was supposedly the MOST VIOLENT VIDEO GAME EVER! I haven't seen it in years but I'm sure it's probably pretty tame compared to the stuff that's out there now...)

Buster Brothers

Burger Time (I still remember the TV commercial for the Atari cartridge of this game, with the cook being chased around the kitchen by evil pickles, hot dogs, etc... when a car comes up to the drive thru window, the pickle leans out and hisses at'em "We're CLOSED now!" and slams the window shut, Haha)

I must admit that I'm kind of addicted to GTA IV right now...although I'm not progressing through the story line very well, I'm too busy running over pedestrians, blowing away cops, picking up hookers, going to strip clubs, etc.
