Just recently I've rediscovered all of my old NES and SNES games. I was just wondering what's everyone's favorite video games.

Starfox 64 is probably my favorite game. I've wasted entire days on that thing.

I dig the NES and SNES as well but I would have to say for an all-timer fav the original Valkyrie Profile for PS. For a roleplaying game that has to be one of most innovative...at least it isnt some little kid saving the world, gotta love those...not. I wish I could find more time to play games again.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Capcom Vs. SNK, Shenmue 1 & 2 are just a few. I'm sure there's more, but all my games are back at home (I'm at university) and so I haven't had a chance to play any for a few months.

I used to have this game for NES called Archon. It was a lot like chess except it used mythological creatures for game pieces. Each piece had strengths and weaknesses and unlike chess, if you wanted to take a square occupied by your opponent, the two pieces squared off and had to try to kill each other.

I'm with the old school - Galaga, Moon Patrol, Gyruss, Q-bert, and Yars Revenge would still be my favorites. I even still love pinball.

I just don't have the time that it takes to play the games of today. But man, if these systems were around when I was young I'd have never left the house.

Resident Evil 4 is without a shadow of doubt the greatest action/horror game EVER made!
You won't find a more thoughtfull and thought through game of this caliber today (still waiting for Resident Evil 5)

I haven't played any other games all that much. Mario, Zelda for Nintendo 64. Halo, The Godfather, Saints Row, Condemned, Fear, Half Life series, GTA series, etc. Yeah, that's just about it. Not much of a gamer but it's fun to play with a friend sometimes, and I think that is what makes it so enjoyable when I first do play video games... because I don't do it 24/7. Cool

There were more but I remember the origional system more fondly. Besides most of my time was occupied with A Link To The Past and FF II. The games were so much better back then despite the technolical limits. No system will ever equal the origional Nintendo IMO. I had a Playstation but barley played any games on them except FF VII which was my sole foucus apart from High School.

resident Evil is the best man.. I was hooked when i was like 15 years old i couldnt stop playing. Did you see the Anime Resident Evil 4 - Degeneration?
