I missed this post the first time.

We often joke about some of the parody songs that Christians do. "Walking with the Lord" put to the music of "Running with the Devil" is one that we joke about often.

"Music from Our Elders" got shot down by the band AND the record company. LOL! Well, for what it's worth, I liked it.

Out of the many titles I presented to the band, these are a few we are still tossing around...

Heart of Metal (most everyone seemed to like this one.)

Crude Construction

American Steel

Random Acts of Metal

All the others were tossed.

Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi basically means the law of prayer is the law of belief, and it says it refers to the relationship between worship and belief, as that's sort of what a covers album is. Worshipping songs you believe in, for lack of a less cheesy term. I thought that was cool. Obviously I changed orandi to metali, which I'm pretty sure is not Latin. Haha.

Lex Metali by itself is sort of cool. Metal is the Law!

I like Lex Metali. Make the bangers cough up the dough, so they can get to the liner notes [or back of the booklet - or on the inner tray liner] to see it's definition.

I ran LEX METALI by Robert. He liked it. I'll have to run it by the other guys and Retroactive and see what they think.

lex metali is a cool name. heart of metal is good too. i like crude construction too.

I'm really liking Lex Metali. I'll run it by Rob, Alan and our engineer tonight and see what they think.
