| Just happened to find out about a show here last night at the last minute and decided to go. It was a band called Sabbath Judas Sabbath, playing only Sabbath and Priest covers. Turns out that the lead singer was James Rivera from Helstar and Destiny's End! Great show. I was up front most of the time, screaming along and banging my head. | Yeah, I've been to a lot of shows there lately and it's usually a good time, but I was blown away to find out such a metal legend was there this time. If I'd known, I would have brought my Destiny's End cd's for James to autograph.  The opening band was awesome as well. Their name is Innocent Exile, hailing from El Paso. I hung out for a bit after the show with their bass player. We talked about maybe doing some shows with them and even a fishing trip. I got his phone number and he gave me one of their cds. | I don't think the point that makes this a post worthy occurance is that there is a band that covers Sabbath and Judas songs in the same night, I believe the special part of this is the inclusion of James Rivera, one of the greatest metal vocalists ever. |
