do chicks hate Rush?

A few years ago I remember my then guitar teacher introducing me to Rush which are a fucken aewsome band I even like their post Moving Pictures stuff with the exception of Power Windows and Hold Your Fire. Anyway he said that chicks in general hate Rush and also I read somehwere that they didn't get any groupies until they opened for Mr Big in 1987. Is it true they really hate Rush? My theory is that they can't stand Geddy's voice who sounds like Robert Plant on helium and would find their lyrical themes boring hmmmmmm

Yes. As females are the inferior gender, it is very simple to make rash generalizations such as this and have them be entirely true. As a sidenote, A little known fact is that "chicks" collectively do not enjoy licorice.

come to think of it, Ive never met a girl or woman that liked Rush. Too bad, their loss. I think females in general (but not all) are drawn toward simpler music, be it pop or this newer modern three chord no guitar solo rock crap. Males tend to be drawn towards more challenging music, be it classical or jazz or prog rock/metal or thrash.
I could be a bit off but in 32 years of being a rock/metal fan, this is my take on it.

The members of RUSH are so ugly that not even a dog will piss on them but we love them, at least their music

lol you know this is a good point the bassit in our band's favourite band is rush and everytime we put it on the girls just complain

Only time I ever see women at a Rush concert is if they're with their boyfriend/husband. I don't think women get the thrill out of going to concerts.

By the way, I thought Power Windows and Hold Your Fire were pretty alright albums!

I love Rush.

Being a Doors afficianado, I'm around a lot of Doors heads, not many seem to like Rush, especially women, I don't get that, Neil is every bit a poet as Morrison, they just play on different strings.

I had an old girlfriend who was really into Rush. Which was really surprising given what the rest of her music collection looked like. But did she ever love Rush.

In my 49 years I've only known a handful of women who liked metal hard rock in general. The rest either go for cuntry, boy bands, Brittany!
