Favorite 80's era DIO album?

You know the drill.


Here's going to be a shocker to some. My favorite is Sacred Heart.





It's purely because it was the first one I owned in 85 or 86. Also, "Time to Burn" from Intermission is one of my top five favorite DIO songs. Go figure.

Normally I'd go for "Holy Diver", but just yesterday I was listening to "Dream Evil" and thinking how great a cd it was! An underrated classic in Dio's catalog.

ult, is it worth it to seek out that Dio Diamonds collection for that Iron Eagle track? I have never heard that one.

I have not listened to Intermission yet.

Last In Line is amazing. one of the best metal albums ever made.

Holy Diver (on the strength of Invisible and Don't Talk to Strangers; the title track is actually one of the dumbest songs I have ever heard!

BTW, spectrefate, Sacred Heart is fantastic and is certainly my number two favorite Dio from the 1980's.

The intro for Time to Burn vaguely reminds me of Black Sabbath's Voodoo. Does anyone else hear it?

I only have Last In Line and have heard all but two songs from Holy Diver so I will come back to this later down the line to vote (if I remember to do so by the time I have more classic Dio albums).
