Winnie the Pooh (horror movie)

Yeeeaaaahhhh... no.

Lord knows, y'all know how much I love me some cheesy horror movies, but there is some shit that even I won't eat, and this looks like one of those.

Good god. Why even attempt to make that?

It’s gonna be sick and goofy at the same time.

I gave the Banana Splits horror movie a shot and it was B-A-A-A-D!!!! Somehow this looks like it's going to manage to be worse.

It’s the new frontier of bad filmmaking. Turn all innocent children's storybook characters into bloodthirsty monsters!

Any guess what the next one shall be?

How about Peter Rabbit? (from the Beatrix Potter series)

This Winnie the Pooh sounds a bit like Forrest Gump.

Because Winnie the Pooh (not the Disney-fied version, but the original book by A.A. Milne that Disney's version is based upon) went into the Public Domain this year, so anybody can do anything they please with the character as long as their Pooh doesn't resemble the Disney one.

They may be walking a fine line there. Dunno if you can copyright a "voice."

Either way, this teaser looks like they're almost saying "Hey Disney, come and get us!"

This would have some potential if somebody like Peter Jackson were involved - it could be like "Meet The Feebles". But I looked up the director and he has stuff like "Alien Abduction" on his resume so I'll pass.

But why though?

I love me some jank, but this... yeah, I'll pass.
