Ever heard of Coloursound? A project with Mike Peters from The Alarm and Billy Duffy. This sounds exactly like what it is, The Alarm singing a Cult song; something about Duffy's guitar just always sounds like The Cult.

The only guitarist I could compare Billy with....is U2 Edge..... I have this box set of 6 CDs of demos Rare Cult. It's great listening. They were innovative for sure. Love to Electric to Sonic. Each release, I was put off, then after a month I was like YES ! I wished I had seen them live, but it just never happened. At the time, no one played them at parties either....cause metal was just a force ! I did see Ian sing with the Doors....but not Ian with Duffy by his side.

Billy Duffy is cool because in the late 1980s/early 1990s, because he was skateboarding around and had SACRIFICE's (our local thrash metal band heroes) sticker on his deck. This was when everybody was g a y for metallica or death angel or whoever else was on heavy video rotation, but not for a club band that never got any breaks.
