VULVAGUN - dont let the name fool you

VULVAGUN - insanely catchy and crushing Euro Power Metal from Down Unda, featuring members from cult 80s bands such as Taramis, Nothing Sacred, and Captain Trips, just to name a few.

Disregard the cheeky moniker, there's nothing cheesy or vulgar inside, just killer music throughout!

The bassist came from TARAMIS ... he's amazing!

The tunes not too bad, if that's your thing, but that name is just ridiculous. That name isn't really gonna do them any favors. Nor is the video. They look like 4 dads that got together after their kids soccer game one Sunday afternoon to jam.

And that's exactly what it is - 4 old-farts jamming together in their spare time. Those guys are way past living the rock star dream. Same with the name - Wayne knows all the limitations coming with it, but he is such a person he would not have it any other way.

It's very bizarre to watch...I keep thinking I'm watching a group of church dads, then I think of the name and my brain kind of glitches...regardless the song is quite strong.

Too bad Beavis & Butthead aren't around anymore. "Hey Beavis, what the hell's a 'vulvagun...'"

I don't care about what they look like & the name doesn't bother me. They sound full of energy & the songs I've heard are heavy & good. I'm gonna track some down.

Dont buy from Amazon! Order it from the band's website http://www.vulvagun.com, they have proper silver-pressed CDs for $11.60 ($12.99 AUS)
