Question.

Hi can anyone recommend the best and most reliable places to buy dvds other than Ebay?I was looking around and saw Half.com and Amazon but never bought from those before.Are they just regular sellers there like ebay?Thanks for any help.

on Amazon, you can buy directly from the company or from one of their sellers. i buy more dvds from them than anyone else.

no bidding, just buying. yep, that's pretty much all there is to it.

Have u ever tried Half.com?

once, a year or so ago. ended up going through hell to get my money back.

Can u use a postal money order with amazon and i cant find the register area?

They don't seem to take money orders (as far as I can tell; they aren't listed in either payment methods they do or don't accept). Their gift cards aren't to hard to find, though.

I don't think it's possible to create an account without placing an order.

In both cases, I could be mistaken; I only did a rather cursory search of the site help. The link to the help's in the upper right corner of the main page.

Wow i guess ill have to stick with ebay then as i can only use a postal money order and at least some sellers on ebay take those.

How bout deepdiscount dvd?Can u money orders there?Are they reliable?

I don't know about money orders, but I've bought many cds from deep discount and they're great!

Amazon is the best though!

Ill see if they take money orders as i dont have a credit card.

You could always buy one of those prepaid cash cards, those will work and are sold at most places

you can pay Amazon directly from your checking account. everyone has one of those.

Personally I like to get my dvds locally

I've used Amazon, DeepDiscount and CD Universe for DVDs but I buy 95% of my DVDs from Amazon sellers.

I buy from amazon almost all the time now.

U usually buy CD's, books, and DVD's on Amazon, and every once in awhile half price and ebay, and only time I have an issue with Amazon which has only been twice, I had no issues getting my money returned

I've used Amazon many times and have ordered stuff from DeepDiscountDVD numerous times and have found them both to be very reliable.

You really need to look into getting a check/debit card from your bank to use for ordering from these sites, though, as I doubt any of them accept money orders.

Amazon is great for all kinds o' stuff!

Ill probably just stick with ebay.
